If only the wait staff would rate half as good as its dessert and drink menu, this place would be a favorite. Unfortunately, even its tantalising array of desserts on display, its long list of speciality drinks menu and its late night hours are not enough to make up for its service. I love coffee shops and desserts and thought I had found the perfect place when we stumbled on Cafe Intermezzo in Buckhead at 1am in the morning. The place was buzzing with life and after a 20 minute wait, we were seated. It was crowded but the dim lighting made for a romantic atmosphere. The service was terrible, not only was there a long wait for just drinks, there was a long wait for the check! The Dunwoody location did not fare better in service rating. One would think for a sophisticated establishment, service would be a priority.
