I recently bought a bulova precisionist watch from costco and brought it here to have the band adjusted to make it smaller. I paid $10 and the old guy with glasses made two adjustments and I was on my way. On my way home, I took a closer look at my watch and realized one of the pins holding the links together was put in backwards. I took it back the next day and the guy says the pin that was put in backwards was really smashed in and he couldn't fix it without breaking the link. He asked me to leave the watch there so his father (old guy) could fix it the next day. I told him i'd bring the watch back. The guy was nice enough and admitted his father had made a mistake. Next day I come back and explained the problem to the old guy but he starts talking about how he put the pin in the right way, how he thinks that somebody else had adjusted the band and put in all 7 other pins in the wrong way. I couldn't believe what he was saying. Then he took out one of the pins and showed me the way he thought it was supposed to go in. At that point since he was belligerent and unresponsive I just walked away while he started telling me to ""come back, i'm still talking to you."" Ridiculous. I take the watch to another jewelry repair shop in the same mall and the guy takes it apart, tells me I was right and that the pin was put in backwards and it's smashed in so hard, he can't take it apart unless he drills it which would cost about $30. Horrible experience at this store
