I was behind on a Sears payment and the acct. was charged off. CCS took the account and contacted me. I was hesitant to speak with them on the phone because of several negative memo's I had read on the internet. Via snail-mail, I agreed to a settlement price and CCS called to confirm they had accepted. Now, I need to pay them....to make a long story short. I worked with a CCS representative ""Kay Watson"". She was the most pleasant and professional. I think that the negative memo's I read on the web influenced me in the wrong direction. Sure, some bill collectors are jerks, but Kay Watson at Central Credit Services was a pleasure to work with. If you need to work with CCS.. give Kay a call. Out of courtesy to her, I won't provide her direct number. Give her a chance, I doubt you will be sorry.... Mike in Houston 03/10/2008
