Review content:
The restaurant is located in what appears to be a small standalone warehouse type complex on a hill off Kaahumanu Street. Once in, the decor is rustic, the lighting in the evenings is muted and overall a very pleasant comfortable setting. The parking is usually adequate in the evenings and the service is good. It has a small private dining area as well as the main dining area and bar. Reservations are recommended.
They have a good basic salad bar with many vegetable selections, condiments and hot bread which should please the majority of us. Actually, this is one of the my personal favorite salad bars.
They serve charcoal grilled mostly American comfort food at a reasonable price. You can find ribs, shrimp scampi, steaks, teriyaki meats, scallops, soups etc.
The food is cooked properly, plated nicely and tasty. I been going here for years and not had a bad meal.
Overall this restaurant is a good value and one of best places to eat in this neck of the woods.
Pros: Good value in a comfortable setting.
Cons: Sometimes crowded, so ask to eat in the bar .
