Review content:
I grew up in Pasadena going to Pie & Burger - but after last week's visit, I can't go back. The place is an absolute dump. Ok, so it's a ""greasy spoon"" and not a fancy restaurant, I get it, but in order to look past the disgusting grease-stained wallpaper, broken stools, grumpy staff, and high prices, the food needs to be worth it - and unfortunately, it is not anymore. My bacon cheese burger was gross, the fries flavorless, and the chocolate shake was watery. By, the way, the bill for 2 us of was $45....and I had to force myself to leave a $5 tip. $50 for 2 people to have a burger, fries, coke, and shake? Give me a break. The owner really needs to open his wallet, spend some money cleaning the place up, and rework the basics. There are so many better burger joints around.
