What a shame that Chinese restaurants feel like they must offer buffets to attract customers. Most buffets, including the one here at Aloha Gardens, are only good if the restaurant is busy and the food is fresh. Before the buffet lines were added, Aloha Gardens offered some of the best, freshly made Chinese entrees in Oklahoma City. Well guess what - the same cook is still making these dishes fresh off the menu. Just skip the buffet - unless it's real busy and you're in a hurry. The following suggestions refer to ordering off the menu: Egg Foo Yung, Kung Pao Chicken, General's Chicken, Hot & Sour Soup, Chinese Vegetable Noodle Soup, Egg Rolls and many more are very good here.
Pros: Nice atmosphere, very good menu.
Cons: Buffet, except during rush hours.
