I like Starbucks coffee but not when it is accompanied by service like an arctic breeze. To give due credit, a couple of young ladies working in the Albertson's Starbucks are professional, but for the most part the service is just an after thought, or worse yet, it's service with a frown. I don't expect anyone to be overly friendly, but at least mildly polite. One of the servers ""Sarah"" is just plain consistently rude. She obviously wishes she were working somewhere else. We have complained about the service to management several times over the months, and nothing has ever been done. It is tough working with the general public, especially in a small desert town inhabited by trailer types and French tourists for the winter season. But that is what these Baristas are paid for, and hopefully trained for....we have had so many rude encounters in Starbucks Albertson's that they have lost our custom for sure, and if there is a need to blame anyone, it has to be the store manager. Albertsons should also try to make the environment there somewhat more pleasant by creating a separate space to sit and sip coffee instead of right by the store entrance... maybe that would improve people's attitudes too.
