Review content:
I am a picky and critical person - especially when it comes to getting a haircut. Based on a friend's recommendation, I booked an appointment with Buddy to get a cut. I was seriously impressed. I came in with an obscure reference to a French Revolution military hair style and Buddy got it 100%. I cannot recall ever being more satisfied with a haircut or stylist. Buddy was meticulous and really focused on what he was doing. Nothing is worse than feeling like a stylist is rushing through a job or bored and not really into it, but Buddy clearly loves what he does and takes it seriously. I found out he has years of hair/makeup freelance experience in L.A. doing music videos, commercials, and editorial work. It shows. The rest of the staff at the salon were all very welcoming, without any pretense or fussiness. Prices are fair. To be honest, I have never had a haircut under $60 bucks that was acceptable. My men?s cut was about $70+tip and given the experience and superb outcome, I'll pay that any day. Will definitely be returning. Oh, and my friend who recommended Buddy has one of the best looking bobs I've ever seen. She loves her hair and is a loyal repeat customer.
