Review content:
I purchased a resale Smithbilt home and have been continually shocked by the poor quality. Leaky imporperly installed door sill with repairs, quote at over $5000 to repair, shoddy wiring in the bathroom light fixtures that I will have to have fixed, nails in pipes when drywall was hung that have rusted through and caused water damage, moulding stuck on with filler that is drying out causing moulding to fall off, cut outs around fixtures and sockets made too big and filled with putty that are, you guessed it drying out. I am going to spend a good deal of money trying to get all this fixed. If you have any question about Smithbilt ""quality"" message me and you can come judge for yourself. I have spoken to Smithbilt about this and their response was they would not stand behind it and they sell enough houses not to worry about their reputation.
