The Soapy Dog is a do it yourself dog wash, doggy daycare, and doggy general store. The owner, Roni, is literally one of the most caring, knowledgeable "dog people" I've ever met. She knows her stuff, and she is as honest as she is caring..so that works out in everyone's favor. She provides all the necessary equipment for a dog bath- tubs, warm water, plastic aprons for you, all natural shampoo, towels, and a dryer. It literally takes the scare and the mess out of bathing your pet..which is great for those of us who live in small spaces, or have had nightmare pet bathing episodes at home. My dog sits pretty at the Soapy Dog, like it's no big deal...she'd never ever do that at home!
And the Doggy Day Care is awesome!!! For ten dollars a day, dogs get to play both outside and inside until they literally drop from exhaustion. It's the best ten bucks I spend each week and it makes all the difference in my dog's life- to be able to get out and run free and socialize. Roni also does boarding, and though it's a couple bucks more than some places it is worth every penny. I guess I'm gushing, but it's sincere. I loooove this place, and it has made all the difference in my pet's life.
