...until we mentioned buying something, of course. First of all, these women work off of commission-- that turned me off to this store immediately bc when employees work for commission, all they care about is making money--not about your big day. It took the specific employee at least 20 minutes to get the 2 (ONLY 2) dresses I wanted to try on. Only for her to come up to me 20 minutes later and tell me shes been waiting for me on the other side of the store--which was a blatant lie b/c she was helping another girl who obviously had more expensive taste than I. To make a long story short, the dress I loved happened to be completely defective. The back hem was an inch off centered, although, if you unzipped the back and moved it to be center in the back, then the front was HORRIBLY off centered to the point that my entire left ""ta ta"" was showing. Come on, for a bridal shop that supposedly has designer dresses--this dress was seriously damaged. they said they could order me another one, but I would have to do it within 12 hours, or the dress from the warehouse would be discontinued. What?! HA! Does that not sound like a sales ploy?! The store manager came out to look at the off centered hem dress and mentioned ""wow, we are going to have to mark this WAY down, no one will ever buy this"".....(direct quote from the store managers mouth"") I took this oppurtuinty to ask how much they would mark down the dress seeing how NO ONE would ever buy it---she replied with 10%. HA, what a bunch of crooks. The dress was in fact, gorgeous and I honestly just wanted to get it and get out. It was originally 600, but was marked down to $300 b/c of their sale(not b/c it was damaged). I bought the dress 40 dollars cheaper and insisted on a free press, steam, and dry cleaning. They agreed (the only good part about my experience). My grandmother has been a seamstress her entire life, so she agreed to fix the dress for free. So, all in all, I did get a beautiful dress for 10% off with a free steam clean. But the staff is more than terrible and the store is filled with a bunch of rich wanna be brides. If you are an average joe with an average amount of money for a dress--I would not recommend this shop. I dont, however, now what else tor recommend b/c this is the only bridal shop I know of in my area. good luck Pros: 10% discount and free steam clean on a defective dress Cons: everything from the staff to the variety
