Review content:
I rented a tool to unplug my bathroom drain but couldn't break thru the clog. So I decided to call a professional. I called Whipple after hearing a radio ad and they assured me there would be no extra charges. I waited two days for them to come. A very young man showed up with that same tool and found out it wasn't sufficient also. So, this young man had to call his supervisor to ask what to do. My choices were to put in a chemical that may damage the pipes - or he'd have to bring out another tool - WHICH WOULD COST $370! I said no way and sent him on his way. The only GOOD thing about Whipple is the young man didn't argue when I said I wouldn't pay for service not rendered. He doubted that I'd find someone else for cheaper. Well, I called Electric Rooter and they had someone out in TWO HOURS and had it fixed in 20 minutes, replaced parts under the sink for no extra charge and guaranteed the work to stay unclogged for $113. There's no WAY I'd call Whipple again - and other negative reviews have had the same experience!
