Businiess name:  Doggie's Day Out

Review content:
I stumbled across Doggie's Day Out after performing a Google search for pet bakeries in Murfreesboro. One of my dog's 1st birthday was that day and I wanted to get him something special. While there are dozens of pet bakeries in the Nashville, Brentwood, and Franklin areas, there aren't any at all on the Southeast areas of Metro Nashville. I met with Denise, the owner, who was very friendly and told me all about the facility. They are advertised as a day care & kennel but they provide other services such as grooming and a bakery for pet treats. The concept of the kennel is unique and found mostly on the west coast. Dogs at Doggie's Day Out are not confined to cages or their own rooms, but allowed to mingle with other dogs. I asked about the grooming and overnight pet stay because I plan on taking a vacation in a couple months. To my surprise, her pricing is very reasonable and the overnight stay fee includes the day care as well. As for the cake itself, Denise actually baked me a new one and decorated it with my dog's name. As for the taste, my dogs loved it. While I've been a customer only to her doggie birthday cake, I definitely plan to return and and utilize her grooming services (which is also very reasonable and includes things such as ear cleaning that other groomers don't include) and kenneling. My only concern is that with this open-roaming environment, my dogs might get attacked. I've seen it happen at dog parks. I didn't ask Denise directly about it, but I'm sure they know how to handle it. But as a pet owner, you can't help but worry when your dogs are less than 10 pounds each and they are allowed to mingle with huge dogs.
