Review content:
I wanted to write a review about the location in Wake Forest actually, but it's not listed in here. I decided to put it under this location, because I used to work in a Family Practice close to this location. We referred to this group all the time, and they took fabulous care of our patients. Now, about the location in Wake Forest....I showed up there yesterday from my PCP office to get an x-ray to check for kidney stones. I was in a lot of pain, driving myself in my stick-shift Jeep, and my cell phone was out of charge. I couldn't reach any friends or family to help. When I walked in, the woman at the front desk could tell right away that something was wrong, and asked if I was OK. As I had a mini-meltdown while answering her, she quickly offered water, and got me to their desk phone so that I could call my husband. I couldn't even remember his number because of the pain, and she swiftly looked it up for me in the computer. She made sure that after I reached him, all my emergency contacts were updated. She made sure after I had my x-ray, that I would be able to drive home. I was much better when I left, because the kidney stone pain is very colicky - comes in waves. She and the x-ray tech were so compassionate and caring that I felt much better when I left than when I arrived (which I cannot say for my PCP office, but that's another review...). I apologize that I don't have their specific names, but if I get them, I will edit my review. I have been here in the past for my mammogram, and they have always been very nice, but this time it was urgent, and they really showed excellent patient skills. I am a masters level nurse who has worked in this area in OB/GYN, family practice, and urgent care - so I've been on both sides (provider and patient). This group is one of the best!
