I went to see Dr. Sanders about three weeks ago from my insurance provider list. I will never go back to another eye doctor except for Dr. Sanders. When I called to schedule the appointment, the girl on the phone (I think her name was Kathy) was so kind and efficient that I immediately got a positive sense from her. They took care of my insurance and everything before I ever even walked in the door. When I got there, I filled out paperwork and Kathy was as warm and polite as on the phone and Dr. Sander's nurse, Christy, took me back almost immediately. She explained everything she was doing and the need for it and answered all my questions with a caring sense of humor and was knowledgable. The best part was afterwards she made sure to ask if I had any other concerns or questions I would like Dr. Sanders to know. When he came in, he was very kind and took every step to make sure I knew was going on and discovered a eye high pressure and explained to me what that meant and the steps to take. He spent as much time as he needed to make sure I was comfortable and aware of any concerns I may have. He had a true concern for my health care and my time. Then, it was off to pick out glasses, which I dreaded because of the money concerns. Again, Christy helped me with some assistance from a lady named Kim who seemed to be like an office manager and gave me information about my insurance coverage. Both Christy and Kim never once made me feel as though they were trying to make a sale and informed me of what was necessary, and what was beneficial but not a must have. They helped me choose frames based on what I wanted, not the price range. Then, when they were totaling my glasses up, Kim made sure to verify again the information and that I was happy with everything. As I left to pay, Kim told me the glasses could take about two weeks because of my insurance and I told her I was fine with that. I walked up to the desk and scheduled an appointment to return for the eye pressure and realized that they had a Christian music station playing in the background and while it was unobtrusive, it was sincerely appreciated they played it. Kim scheduled an appointment exactly where I wanted and easily, and made me feel as though I were the only one that mattered. As I left, all three staff members made an effort to tell me goodbye, and Kathy gave me a sincere smile and I left. A week and a half later, Christy called me to let me know my glasses had arrived, and when I came, she fit them to my face and I left very happy with my perscription and my purchase. Two days later, she called to make sure I was happy with them. Dr. Sanders made a very large effort to make sure that afterwards I was taken care of and his staff treated me with the same respect as before, and I noticed that each of them treated the other patients in the same level. I highly recommend Sanders Eye Care because of the staff and the level of care. Pros: So many to list Cons: Limited parking, closed on Monday
