I consider myself well-rounded when it comes to restaurant dining. I was therefore, very disappointed by my experience at Juliana's. I was part of a party of 8 for lunch during the December hoiidays. We had made reservations in advance, but our tables were not ready when we arrived. Service was extremely slow and disorganized. Our wait staff seemed unable to get beverages straight or keep them refilled. We asked for bread and after a long wait were brought a very small basket of very dry bread (was it from the night before?). We were told that we would have to wait until the bread came out of the oven. It never came. Our wait staff told us that we could order either from the Lunch or the Dinner menu, but everything that we ordered from the dinner menu was not available -- one of our party even had to order twice because after placing the order he was told that the second item also was not available. We waited. And waited. We waited for salad. We waited for entrees. We waited for dessert. I had to get up twice for additional silverware, as it was never replaced between courses. Two members of our group ended up having to leave just as their entrees finally arrived at the table (entrees arrived at different times, so some of our party had no food while others were eating -- or waiting while their food got cold). And did I mention that the rest of the restaurant was not busy? In short, I went in with high expectations and left wondering ""what happened?""
