Review content:
I stopped in being pretty hungry. I wanted to order noodles instead of rice with a curry dish, but was told that they would not allow that. So that was kind of irritating, but I went with my hankering for noodles and ordered prawn pad thai, figuring I couldn't go wrong with a standard. But I was disappointed - flavor was lacking in this dish. I wound up asking for extra limes so I could at least add that level of interest to the food. The noodles were just this side of being overcooked, and were not the typical small rice noodles I've come to expect for pad thai. Service other than substitution refusal was ok. Pros: medium prices, cool barstools, decent menu Cons: no substitutions, uninspired pad thai
