Review content:
Recently my children and I visited the museum and were having a wonderful time. My daughter who is nine yrs old is a type1 diabetic .Although she is very good of knowing how she is feeling she had a low which is when her blood glucose is dangerously low, we address it very quickly by testing her and treating it with a juice box. My problem is this an employee saw this happening and came over very quickly to not help but to tell me that she was not allowed to have a juice in the museum, but could take that to the cafe. Which is in the front of the museum. If anyone knows about diabetes you know you try very quickly to address it so it doesnt go any low then it is. after explaining our situation she told me again that I needed to take this to the cafe. Im really concerned with the education of these employees of a CHILDRENS museum, that she could be so ignorant in her suggestion that if she is going to have another episode she shoud take it again to the cafe... I worry that this is what my child and thousands of others have to be subject to..... Not a great day in all!!!!!
