Review content:
the store/office/boat rental shop was right in the park and convenient, but closed at 6pm every day, and bar/restaurant was very nice to have around. the lake was picturesque and incredibly warm, which is unusual for waters coming right off the mountains in the middle of summer. the thing was, the campsites obviously weren't cleaned by previous campers, and maintenance staff obviously didn't pick up after anyone either. we pitched our tent and then realized that right behind it, was a tampon laying in the grass. bottle caps, plastic wrappers, all kinds of small debris was strewn throughout our campsite. there was no privacy between sites either, no trees or extra footage between tents. we were up for one of the nights listening to a screaming baby next door. also, the porta potties were DISGUSTING and looked as if they had not been serviced for months.we enjoyed the lake, but would most likely not come back to stay again.
Pros: warm waters, nearby bar/restaurant
Cons: dirty porta-potties, littered campsites
