Review content:
The service was so poor at this restaurant that it ruined the experience. I think that because we had a party more than six the server knew that he was getting 20% and therefore neglected the table. It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks. The food came quickly once ordered, but we had to ask many times for our server to be found because drink orders placed were never brought and orders that we wished to place were abandoned after excessive amounts of time. I suspect that if he had had to work for his gratuity he would have been more attentive. Instead when the close to $400 tab finally arrived, the server had the audacity to let us know that his included 20% gratuity was $2 short. If he had any sense he would have realized that we would have ordered twice as much food and drinks given the opportunity. I love to eat out, but this is not the place you want to do it. There are too many great restaurants in NYC to put up with substandard service.
