Review content:
More than once have I driven a couple of hours to get take-out at Casa Mia (of which I waited all of 5 minutes to get my food!). I pretty much grew up on Casa Mia in Olympia (and rarely skip a chance to go there when I visit family) but my closest Casa Mia is Puyallup which is about an hours drive; that is when there is no traffic! Anyone who's been willing to go for the ride with me I've happily taken there, and I have yet to hear a complaint. I have very discriminating taste and Casa Mia is excellent! ""True Italian"" probably not, but the food is still excellent. The green salad (with the house italian dressing A MUST- they even bottle it it's so good) is superb- I like my salads simple so it works for me. The garlic bread- fabulous! The spaghetti w/marinara sauce- amazing! Meatball sandwiches- good! The prices are cheap. Not unusual to get dinner for 2 for $15 which is just about unheard of anymore, especially something that actually tastes good to boot! I was surprised by the comments that Casa Mia is romantic and/or non-family. I think the it's the total opposite...great for families and kids and not a very romantic spot (might slightly differ per location). The staff has always been friendly, especially at the Puyallup location. Oh, and that dressing I mentioned? I always have a bottle at home since no other bottled viniagrette even comes close, especially at around $2.50 a bottle, and it's even been requested by out of state relatives as gifts! I've said it for years and will hopefully for many more...my all time favorite restaurant is Casa Mia! Pros: Great food, service, prices Cons: None except I wish there were one closer!
