First and last time EVER setting foot in this restaurant. We went here for my mom's birthday last year in March and it was the worst dining experience I have ever had! I usually don't write these sort of reviews but, knowing how outrageously over-priced this scam of a place is, I would love to save even just one person their hard-earned money and highly suggest that it would be better spent at Fazoli's. Aside from the Mario-brothers looking waiter being extremely rude and condescending, the food was dreadful. I ordered the nightly special, which I have had many many times at other restaurants. Traditionally this dish is comprised of scallops, mussels, prawns, clams and calamari. This dish came out looking like linguini with red sauce. When I asked the server where the seafood was, he proudly boasted that it was pureed in the sauce. This statement is laughable considering no self-respecting Italian would puree ""jumbo shrimp"" as it was so described. Are you kidding me? For $19? So, after I requested to see a menu to order something else, I chose a ravioli with a pesto cream sauce hoping it would be a safe bet. The server looked at me and said ""Oh, going with a cream sauce now?"" as if I was trying to get as many free dishes as I could out of them. The ravioli was sub-par and mostly because I had been so insulted. The chef came out and glared at me from the kitchen door. To top the night off the arrogant server looked at me and said ""I'm sorry the dish you ordered was beyond your realm of expectations"", which not only made no sense, was horribly offensive. Fuming mad, I should have spoken to the manager. But honestly, I wanted to get out of their as soon as possible. And, seeing the other reviews, it may not have made much difference. Save your money and eat at Sangiovese! Pros: NONE! Cons: Everything...starting from when you walk in the door.
