I also do not understand the negative reviews. The staff at Cafe du Village is always friendly, and I've always been greeted at the door with a smile and a friendly word. We had probably the best filet mignon I've had in a long time there with outstanding sauteed vegetables. Brunch is my familys favorite. Their eggs Benedict are mouth watering, and I dont know what they do, but their pancakes are the best Ive ever had, and I usually dont even like them. It is a funky little joint, and is overflowing with character. Prices are very reasonable.
