When you take your cleaning to Park Ave Cleaners, you get what you pay for. I think for the basic item, it's acceptable; however, a word of caution here. I took a Liz Claiborne blazer to them once that was peach colored. When I got it back, there was blue spots on the front of it that were not there when I took it in. They tried their best to get them off with no luck. I ended up having to file a claim and did get reimbursed promptly and with little hassle. I've also taken items in and swore when I got them back, they'd not been cleaned and insisted on them being redone. Funny how they then were clean! New owners have taken over since this happened to me. My sister had a horrible experience with them last week when they lost a dress of hers. They kept putting her off and telling her to come back. AFter about the 4th time, she got mad and insisted on speaking with the owner. She truly got the run around and had to get ugly to get reimbursed for the lost item. While she was there, another gentleman was upset about a lost item. They do such a tremendous amount of business because of their price, I'm just not convinced they are that organized and do that good of a job. Beware!
