The customer service I received today from Lori made me so angry I felt I needed to write this review to warn others about Bayside Granite. After paying over $2000 to have my granite installed, I went in to ask Lori about the massive hole one of their installers put in my kitchen wall while installing the granite yesterday. I was hoping she would call the installer and have him come back to the house to fix the hole. Instead, she told me it wasn't a big deal to patch sheet rock and I could do it myself. I had just finished sheet-rocking, priming and painting that wall and didn't feel it was my job to fix the brand new hole their installer so carelessly put in it. I told Lori that if it wasn't such a big deal to patch sheet rock maybe she could schedule someone to come over and fix it. She said her installers aren't responsible for any damage caused during installation. WTF??? So, if Bayside Granite installs anything for you they aren't responsible for any damage they create while doing so? To me this is unacceptable. So, not only am I out +$2000 for their installation, I will also be spending half my day tomorrow fixing their damage. To add fuel to my fire, the cut line behind my slide-in stove has a gap of 1/8" which they patched with epoxy. To me 1/8" is totally unacceptable for a "professional" installation. Lastly, they promised to include brackets for the bartop during the estimate to secure my $1000 deposit but when one of the owners came to my house to create the template he told me I would have to supply my own brackets which ended up costing me an additional $150. I am extremely unhappy with Bayside Granite and will never give them another penny. I highly recommend that you don't make the same mistake I made and trust this company to install granite for you.
