I recently visited the East Chase location and was very disappointed in the lack of customer service. My first "attempt" to shop with them was on a Saturday evening at 7:45 pm. The hours listed on the door said they closed at 8:00 pm, however the doors were locked and 3-4 employees were standing around the counter looking like they were waiting to clock out, and just staring at me. I returned the next Monday and was made to feel very unwelcome. I looked around at least 10 minutes before one lady asked if I had been helped, and upon hearing that I had not, she asked another lady to help me. This second lady replied that she was not "on the clock". Feeling discouraged, I asked a man to help me find a certain style #, and he replied, "Oh, I have no idea". He then sent me to another man which did help me...finally! The only problem now was that I needed a female consultant before I could try on any dresses. So, in total there were 5 employees (one was standing behind the counter) there that did not live up to my expectations of customer service. I was impressed with the selection, but not the service. I will not be going there ever again. I will travel to B'ham, or Mobile, even though this is my home.
