DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!! We moved from NYC to California and had the worst experience ever with the California New York Express movers. The furniture pick up from NYC was uneventful and went smoothly. However we were in for quite a shock when our movers showed up at our apartment building in CA to deliver our furniture. First of all 2 of the 4 movers that showed up were drugged up, they're eyes were glazed and initially could not walk in the straight line. Secondly, before the movers unloaded the truck, the driver extorted an exorbitant tip from us and lied saying that that was as per the terms of the contract. Finally, one of the movers while unpacking the boxes stole a brand new Coach bag valued at $400 from the box. When we complained to the company they were not helpful at all and when we filed a claim with the company, they offered us $21 for the lost item. I wish I could give the company a 0 star rating.
