Review content:
I had been going to Spa Roma for 3+ years. previous to that i had been looking for a stylist for years. I was very happy with my stylist at Spa Roma until this fall I had a double process color (all over color and foil highlights) done for which I paid $150.00 and left $20 tip. I waited 4 days to wash my hair and used an expensive color care shampoo. Within two washes most of the highlight color had washed out. I called and spoke to my stylist who had me come back in. She did another color process. I was not charged for the color but was charged $31 for a blow dry. I would have appreciated being told of this charge because i would have left wet considering how much money I already had in the failed color. I waited 4 days again to wash my hair with color care shampoo and again pretty much all color washed out within two washes. At this point I had $200+ in the endeavor. I called the salon and after the receptionist talked to a manager I was told that red/purple toned colors wash out within 3 weeks and tend to fade quickly. I was not told any of that to begin with or when I came in for the second color. She basically told me there wasn't anything they could do and that she was sorry. I complained some but knew it would do no good to give the receptionist a hard time since she was not the person actually making decisions. I received a voice mail a few days later saying that they had a few ideas of what they could do. I called back and was told the stylist had used a Demi-color which is semi-permanent so I could come back
in so a permanent color could be used. I told the receptionist that I was very clear from the beginning
about wanting permanent color as I never would have spent $170 on temporary color. I then asked if I would be charged if I came back in and she told me I would. I let her know that I was not interested in gambling with any more of my money b/c I already knew that they didn't stand behind their services. Not once during this process was I talked to by a manager or the owner.
