Review content:
Dr. Speight is a holistic MD. Although he is personable, I didn't find his care effective or science based. The impression I got was that he was coddling ideas I found on the internet rather than giving me suggestions based on well-founded options. I don't expect things to be 100% proven, but I found many of his suggestions to be shotgun, not supported by good science and not very appropriate to my history and complaints. Further, as a person with lyme related disease I feel that he should at a minimum be familiar with the ILADS guidelines and not attempt any care that deviates from them since this is the most scientific non-conventional treatment regimen available. His records were not accepted in court because he wasn't considered credible and this undermined an important case that I was pursuing. I can't recommend him as a good holistic MD based on my experience.
