I saw Dr. Desai for a foot injury. I was ordered to take x-rays before even speaking to the doctor about the type of injury that I had. I finally saw the doctor and spoke to him for no more than 2 mins. As an avid runner I've been to many doctors for these types of injuries before. Dr. Desai barely asked any questions and didn't even care to ask about or see the shoes I run in. He determined the x-ray was inconclusive and like every other patient walking out of that office, wanted me to get a MRI.
I found out a week later that my health insurance would not cover enough of the MRI and I would not be able to afford it. I called and left several messages to ask how to proceed but nobody ever called me back.
This guy or maybe even the whole office doesn't care about you as a patient only making money.
