So I found myself in the neighborhood in need of a quick cut, I called my friend to ask him the name of his barber at Astor Place. He introduced me to him years ago (2001). Unfortunately, the call went right to voice-mail. I walked in, hoping to remember his name. Dead ahead as you walk in, is a big sign that reads his name, JAY. I walked up to him and introduced my self as Randy's friend. He said "Two girls, a beautiful wife, two motorcycles" he knew exactly who I was talking about. JAY shared he has been cutting his hair for years. He even remembered me, "you work with Randy in sales" Well some things have changed, but yes, I did work with Randy. If you are looking for a true professional, a staple of New York living, then please introduce yourself to JAY. He won't forget you! JAY has been written up in newspapers and books from around the world. He has been cutting hair for over 40 years. Just so you know, JAY is off all day Saturday and half the day on Friday (11 AM - 3 PM) He is taking vacation April 1st to April 19th, so plan ahead or visit his website at barberjay . com --THANK YOU JAY!
