I went to Astor Place Hair on a recommendation from a friend more than a year ago and haven't been to another barber since. I get a great haircut for a very reasonable price, and I'm always amazed at the diversity of the clientele, men and women from all age groups have gone there for years to get a great cut or style and share in the community. And Jose is the best...along with a great cut, he is always quick with a bit of advice about relationships or a story from the several decades he has been cutting hair in NYC. He is a barber/therapist to men and women of all ages, from CEO's to deliverymen, and he treats us all with the same attention and respect. You can't go wrong, so look him up for your next cut!
