I felt the need to write a review about Rita at Astor Place because she made me feel so wonderful, so beautiful, like I have never felt before in my life. I can't believe someone like her exists in the beauty field. She was honest with me about my color, how it should be cut and styled before she did it; and what would work with my hair type (fine and straight). I have volume, thickness, and genuinely love my hair! Rita took the time to talk to me, to make me feel like an important human being, not rushed and like I was a nuisance. I look forward to seeing her again, when we will add a some delicate highlights. Her philosophy is "less is more" and it is real and it works! She won't shock you into a new cut or make you feel badly about yourself. She always finds something positive to work with. I am one of the many that not only hugged her afterward, but feel like i have made a trusted friend in my new beauty advisor. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND RITA , she is a LOVE !
