So I went to Astor Hair wanting to get "really blonde" highlights - when asked if I wanted some red and brown undertones I said surree, but NOT a lot - I want to be blonde. I walked out with black and flaming pink striped hair, looking like a member of Avril Lavigne's thirteen year old fan base. It was a disaster - they used neon red hair dye which ran into my blonde highlights making me pink and when I went to get it fixed the only option I was given was to die all the pink to black. I was charged $200 for wanting to be blonde and came out darker than my original color and resembling a skunk. I asked the manager for a refund and was refused and passed over to a different stylist but at this point I do not trust Astor Hair to touch my head for fear that my hair may fall out or acquire a third color. From what it sounds like the only people worth seeing at this dump are Jose and Rita. Spend your money at a real salon who cares about their customers.
Pros: seems like a good idea...
Cons: until your hair falls out from trying to fix their mistakes.
