I have now been going to Astor Place regularly for quite a while now because I happen to think the best stylist in the Manhattan works there. Her name is Rita and she is wonderful - I am so happy to have found her! Her haircuts are trendy, yet completely original. Her color and highlights are to die for. In fact, I would call her an EXPERT colorist. She is also sweet and funny and makes you feel good about yourself. I have easily sent 3 or 4 friends her way and they all think Rita is just unbelievable. I want to keep her a secret, but yet I want to tell everyone I know just how great and cool she is! If you are going to give Astor Place a try for the first time, make sure you ask for her.
