Review content:
New York's Diamond District can often be as intimidating as a used car lot but if you know where to go you can get your money's worth and more.
Online shopping is fine but when it comes to diamonds and jewelry I'd like to see it in person, touch and feel it before shelling out few month's salary.
Fortunately I didn't have to travel to far in from the Fifth avenue on 47th street. It seems like most of the reputable jewelry store are near the Fifth avenue anyway. Once you go further in then you get the stores with the sales people hanging out to bring people in.
After looking at the few store windows off of Fifth avenue I like the diamond selection I saw at Shenoa. They had exactly the diamond I was looking for (yes, I did do my homework on the 4Cs) at a lower price than I was expecting to pay. I already had my family engagement ring so they set the diamond at no charge.
I am extremely happy with my shopping experience at Shenoa.
Pros: Value, Selection and Quality
Cons: Parking can be an issue.
