Review content:
I discovered MerryMac through word of mouth when we brought home our Greater Swiss Mountain Dog puppy at 12 weeks old. We knew she would be a large dog and wanted to make sure we enrolled her in class as soon as possible to ensure she got the foundational skills she needed to be a well rounded dog. We have done two classes with Tina (Puppy Kindergarten and Beginners Obedience) and my husband and I learned so much. Our Zany is a well-rounded girl and the envy of our friends. She is over 110 pounds and we are so glad we did the classes with Tina early in her life and plan on doing more advanced classes this fall. I have found Tina to be very helpful and always willing to spend time outside of formal class sessions to give advice. I feel as if I have my own personal dog trainer and truly appreciate all of the time she has spent with me answering questions and giving advice.
In addition to the classes, we also signed up for the Pawsitively Play sessions on Saturday and take advantage of them on rainy and cold days - it is a great opportunity to socialize your dog with supervision and also a great place to meet others. They even serve coffee and doughnuts for the humans.
I also buy our food from Merry Mac. They have great incentives (for my brand after I buy so many bags I get one free) and even started a new program where you get cash back after a certain amount spent. The food is well priced and they carry many high-quality varieties.
Even though it is a bit further away from my house than other stores, I choose MerryMac because they are friendly, knowledgeable and a locally owned and operated business. As I once read, we should ?put our money where our house is.?
