Review content:
Shopping at Babeland has been life-changing for me, and I've been to both the Lower East Side and Soho locations several times. The first time I ever shopped there, at the Rivington Street location, I was completely terrified, but the salespeople made me feel right at home, gave me tons of good information, and encouraged me to explore the store and myself. It was such an affirming experience, and it's been just as good every time I've been back. The customer service is absolutely wonderful. I really disagree with those two negative reviews (one of which is really disrespectful about the gender of the person working), and have to wonder if maybe those customers brought some negativity and hostility of their own into the store? I don't know. Anyway, I'm a devoted Babeland fan. If you haven't been, it's an essential part of the NYC shopping experience. Pros: fantastic customer service, great selection Cons: parking (meter) is often full, better to take the train
