Review content:
Went ahead with my reservation despite the wide range of reviews. No it's not luxurious but it's very convenient (lots of cabs) within a few blocks of times square and broadway shows, and the subway. Room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. A bit overheated (ran the a/c on high all night in February). Pool is just fair but great for kids.
There was virtually no guest or street noise!
Staff was generally responsive and good. You get what you pay for.
Parking is a great deal @$8 per night.
If you're looking to do midtown, this is a very good low cost option.
Pros: Quiet, Price, Location
Cons: Dreary halls, Luggage do/pu awk.
