Review content:
Visited this establishment only on rare occasions in the past, although quite convenient for me.
My experiences in the past were mediocre food, average service, and sub par atmosphere.
Well, I was taking a client to lunch, and since our 1st choice was closed for lunch, Don's happened to be nearby. I decided to give it one more try.
My entree was fried shrimp, that were so SALTY and surely they were FROZEN shrimp, but the salt was overcoming. My lips were parched, and had to consume several glasses of water. I tasted the onion rings, which were just as salty. The other person ordered an Etoufee dish, which he commented was okay.
I mentioned to the server the food was very salty, and she could have cared less.
Don's will definitely be on my X list in the future. I read Don's advertisement, ""been in business since 1934!!"" That is shocking with all the quality seafood restaurants in our area that Don's could have survived 78 hours, muchless 78 years.
