Bartlett Funeral Home had been recommended to me by a friend so I called to get information about their funerals. The lady I talked with was very gracious, informative and helpful. She even gave me prices over the phone which were considerably less than what I had to pay at one of the big funeral homes on Poplar. She also said they accept insurance polices which the big funeral home did not. ""You don't pick a big funeral home on Poplar thinking it's going to be cheap,"" E C Davis, senior funeral director of Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar is quoted as saying in an April 2010 Commercial Appeal article. So, my family has been instructed not to pick a big funeral home on Poplar when my time comes. My choice is Bartlett Funeral Home.
