Worth the trip from Historic Savannah to a 15 minute away Island (Tybee Island) to locate this ""not on the beach"" waterfront dining experience. On a little tidal creek complete with dolphins on one of our three visits; and locals bringing fishing boats in and out at their docks; a complete ""step back"" moment. For tourists, it is! Locals all said ""go there"".. Baby allicator educational exhibit, rescued exotic birds, and kitties, inside and outside tables..with HUGE oak trees over all, and simply delicious, unpretentious boiled, steamed and raw shellfish (ours was a platter served on a BASKET lid).. trash goes in a hole in middle of table under which rests a large waste can..not much left to put there when we finished. Great place for kids, and you can leash or crate your animal and keep it near your table - not in your car! great concept. definitely will return every trip up-down 95.. it's our own little ""ohmmmmmmmmm"" place! Pros: on the water, moderate price, no dress code, good food Cons: off the beaten path.. need good directions to find
