Review content:
I had wood floors installed on a new construction. Maybe my husband and I are too particular but we found lots of problems during the construction of the wood floors. The installation went fine and was well done BUT the staining and finishing weren't satisfactory at first. We had to have them come back in and fill the myriad holes (maybe hundreds) in the woodwork (inferior wood boards?) of various sizes, lengths and depths. One room had floor damage and they tried to repair it. The repair was worse than the original damage and they had to refinish the whole floor in that room. Another room had a REALLY big hole in the woodwork and it was unbelievable that they just left it untouched/unrepaired before refinishing. THey had to redo that floor too after filling the hole. I can't remember why tje pwmer had to come back out again but I have found him to be extremely brusque and in a huge hurry to leave (if he even shows for an appointment - usually, will after several calls but not always). While the floors look beautiful now, it wasn't worth the aggravation and I wouldn't go back.
