Review content:
I see the reviews on this place are very mixed. I too, have been a former patient of the Paw Patch. I originally came to the new location because I heard that the vet there was ""holistic"" (Dr. Dowden). It was not exactly the case, she is pretty traditional as far as vets go. And now she has several other very young vets working there who try and scare you and sell you every test under the sun. But this has been my experience at other vet's offices too. You have to hold firm, STUDY in advance, KNOW which tests you will and won't give your cat or dog and stick to your guns! Sometimes the front desk staff is very ""tense"" there's tension in the air and I'm sure it's related to ""office politics"" so sometimes they are not very friendly, other times they are. I like the place because of the location and that me and my dog can walk there and I like frequenting area businesses. But if another vet which truly was ""holistic"" in practice would pop up nearby, I'd probably switch. I have no firm loyalties here....
