Review content:
Four of us went to Sperry's the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We were all looking for a good steak (actually anything but turkey), and after reading the reviews of the steakhouses in Cool Springs decided on Sperry's. We arrived 15 minutes before our reservations (were told not to as they were booked that night) and was seated immediately. We ordered the rib eye, prime rib and bacon wrapped filet stuffed with blue cheese. The prime rib was fair, the filet did not taste at all like filet mignon, and the prime rib was all of 1/4 inch thick and tasted more like skirt steak than ribeye. At $26 per piece of steak I would have expected meat on a par with Morton's or Flemings, but the meat served was more on a par with Logan's or TGIFridays.
