Businiess name:  Spring Street Chiropractic Dr. Allan Sicignano, Chiropractor
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Dr. Allan is amazing. He has done more for my health than any other single healthcare professional! Period. End of story. But read on if you want details. First the basics: I was referred to Dr. Allan sometime in 2007 when I was doubled over with agonizing lower back pain. I literally could not stand. When I first met him I stated a few things clearly: - I don?t believe in Chiropractory - I?m not going to be one of ?those people? who see a Chiropractor forever - If you don?t like my attitude I?ll walk right out Allan took all of this attitude in stride and readily agreed that he would be happy to do whatever he could in one visit, three visits, or whatever I felt comfortable with. Upon examining me he proceeded to tell me where I had pain, why I had pain, all without me telling him anything. Though a skeptic I had to admit I was impressed. After he gently convinced me that having an x-ray would allow him further diagnosis the resultant films literally confirmed to his assessment of what was going on. During the course of our 5 year association, which is still ongoing today, Allan has allowed me to work out easier and move without pain. He?s addressed chronic problems including a shoulder ailment and even muscle scarring from and old, old, injury. He?s given me great dietary advice that has helped me overcome other ailments. Last but not least, for ? the cost of an MD visit he spends twice the amount of time with me and is REALLY attentive to what is going on with me. Sometimes I see him once a week for a month, sometimes once every month, and sometimes once every six months. I once pitied those people who ?continually? went to Chiropractors. Now I understand that Allen is a far greater value in maintaining my health than a whole host of other doctors. Allen will be the first to recommend an MD for disease, infection, or anything outside his field. I?m just surprised at how much has fallen within his sphere of influence.
