Businiess name:  CA - NY Express cross country movers
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I used this mover twice. On a move back from LA to NY, the company took a number of items out of my place without recording them on the moving log. As a result (I'm assuming), the items never showed up in NY. Despite a very friendly sales rep who eagerly invited phone calls to answer any questions PRIOR to the move, after the items went missing, I was told to only communicate via email or mail. No phone calls at all. That process was slow. And claiming that since there was no ""evidence"" of the items being removed from my place in LA, the company offered no compensation. I'm now missing a number of sentimental items (from travel to Buenos Aires and Ghana, another one a gift from my dad...). It's a clever scam, if intentional. Simply remove items but never record them. There's no way for the customer to make a proper claim. Given the lack of professional response, I would advise potential customers to look elsewhere.
