We have been using roto-rooters in Norfolk for quite some time, and the service is excellent. They come at night, on holidays, on weekends, at a reasonable price. This time plumber Shawn did an excellent job with our backed-up sewer line. He also seemed very knowledgeable and gave some very good suggestions.
They not just unclog your sewer, but they also have a camera so you can look indie the pipes.
The only really really bad thing about this company is their answering service. They do not know who is coming to your house and when , because they are located out of state, and they never tell you the truth. The only thing they will tell you ""plumber is on his way"".
In particular, I made a service appointment at 2 am at night (yes, this is when all the toilets stopped working), and was given a time slot form 11 a.m. to 1 pm. Long story short, the truck arrived at 6 pm ( 5 hours late).
In a meantime, I probably made 5 phone calls to the answering service, and they kept telling me ""plumber is coming, you're next'. I would much rather appreciate them telling me the truth ""we're backed up, we do not know when he is going to be at your house"".
