Review content:
This morning we had a mainline clog so I looked for plumbers using online resources. I looked on Yelp and you all said these guys were amazing. Wow. I feel deceived by this community. Either you are all liars or you just don't really care about pissing your money away. Immediately he was acting like this was a catastrophe before we really explained the scenario. After he thoroughly escalated the event, he started throwing out that cabling the main line would be a waste of time because it sounded much more dire. He suggested that he use the jetter. When he threw out the price, he said it came with a 3 year warranty and that any backup was covered. I figured... oh well, lets do it. Before that though, he launched into this pressured sale of a service contract and all these products (Root X, some enzymes etc...). Having researched this very product, I knew Root X to be a huge waste of money and I asked him if he knew that rock salt was just as effective. He said he's heard that said but he didn't know it to be true. He then stopped looking at me and began to make his pitch to my husband. In the end, the price he quoted for the jetting was well over what I had researched all morning but we were in a crunch and he was there so we agreed. I figured the 3 year warranty would make it worth it. He said he was going to write up the bid and let us know. Instead he just started working. We stupidly did not interrupt him. When he was midway, he called us outside to the cleanout and began to tell us of the impending armageddon that would befall us if we didn't replace the entire sewer line. Mind you, we had a sewer scope less than a year ago from another Yelp guy (who was AWESOME: Aaron @ Seattle sewer inspection). So, at this point, I was thinking this guy was just scamming us. He wouldn't continue the work without this long narrative about how we needed to replace it all ASAP. I shut it down by saying we weren't doing that and that if we did, we'd need bids. He continued his work. After he was done,
