Using General Moving Carriers was the best decision I made. Other movers quoted me lower prices, but when I asked them to break down the costs, I could never get a straight answer. From the moment I called General and spoke with Stephen, all my fears were alleviated. Stephen spent 30 minutes going through the information bit by bit and taking a full inventory of the items to be moved. This was not the same for other quotes, they were given in minutes with very little information provided, and that was a definite red flag. On the day of the move is when I realized that the crews were just as good as the front office. They were educated, efficient, polite, and made my move an absolute pleasure. I just couldn't believe how Carlos and his crew maneuvered some of my heavy furniture down two flights in a tight corridor, simply amazing! Overall my experience with the company would be graded with an A+ and I would definitely recommend using them, if you care about your things that is. Take it from me, General Moving Carriers lives up to they're slogan, ""Moving Simplified"".
